September's topic will be conducted by Bro. Gemma Kim-Armijo as he asks the question, "Duality of Man – Can One Achieve Balance?" Synopsis: Throughout human history, many classic literary works were written on the topic of “Duality of Man.” The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson will be used to discuss and debate the ever-brewing internal conflict and coexistence of opposing forces within human nature. Mission Statement: The Masonic Philosophical Society embraces the concept of learning, not for school, but for life, and believes that all men, who seek it, deserve access to continued education. We further embrace the concept of a community environment where ideas can be shared and debated in an open forum. From the seven liberal arts to the arcane, we seek to gain and share the knowledge that is the legacy of mankind.
