In honor of spooky season, let’s share our scariest money stories and dig into our FIRE-related fears. Come commiserate about the scary sides of seeking financial independence and taking the leap into early retirement. And share any mistakes or catastrophes you’ve experienced. For example, maybe you’re terrified of your job disappearing to AI before you reach your FIRE number? Or are you afraid of running out of healthy years while your life dwindles away behind a work desk? Or maybe you changed jobs and your departing employer accidentally marked you as dead and liquidated your portfolio? Come find out what other horrors our brave community members have overcome.
